Murray Edwards College Boat Club is the largest society in college with over 40 members, with up to 6 crews. Rowing is incredibly popular at Cambridge for good reason! It is an very accessible sport – only enthusiasm is required! Otherwise, we teach you everything from scratch, whether you want to row or cox, competitively or leisurely. After a term of novicing, you will become a senior in Lent term!
We are proud to have had some of our most committed members go on to trial for Cambridge University Boat Club, some having only learnt to row at Murray Edwards!
There are also off water opportunities to get further involved, such as through our various socials, committee roles or engagement with our alumni community. Our social calendar is filled with swaps, pub trips, termly Boat Club Dinners, BBQs and our Bumps Breakfast in May Week!
Keep an eye out for our Michaelmas term sign ups @_mecbc on Instagram, @MECBC on facebook, or email us at murrayedwards.women@cucbc.org with any questions.
